Series Description: Daigo is fresh out of the firefighting training academy and has been newly assigned to Medaka-Ga-Hama fire station. Cocky and overconfident, Daigo goes out on a few calls and is quickly humbled. He's still got a lot to learn before he can call himself a true firefighter. What he does have is an uncanny ability to save lives. But with his unorthodox methods and lack of discipline, is Daigo more of a liability than an asset? When a fire breaks out at a five-story department store, trapping nine people inside, Company M responds. But why is Daigo is in a panic, even after the fire is under control. Later, under heavy media scrutiny, Daigo enters a local technical rescue competition. There he's up against the best in the field, including hotshot Keisho Kanda!
