Kaya's stuffed animals are no ordinary plush toys — when she gets into trouble, some come to her aid. Brought to life by her intense love, Kaya's stuffed animals have the power to turn into people. And just like people, some are good, and some have intentions that cannot be trusted. It soon becomes clear to Kaya that not all of her toy animals will come to her rescue, and that some may even try to harm her.
